Every photographer has in his heart some locations that have deeply impressed him. For us, Castello Lanza di Brancforte in Trabia is one of those locations, a place where time seems to stand still.

When Federica and Gabriele told me about their choice, I knew immediately that it would be an unusual marriage. This historic location, overlooking the coast of Palermo, is a breathtaking setting. The perfectly preserved Norman tower stands in the centre of the courtyard as a silent guardian of history. Restored with care, the structure has kept intact its original charm, mixing elegance and authenticity in every detail.

The ceremony took place in the garden of the castle, right at the foot of the tower. The light filtered through the trees, caressing each face with delicacy. Photographing Federica and Gabriele in that context was like shooting on a film set. Every angle, every perspective told a story.

The whole event has been thought with taste and refinement, without ever losing the warmth of a party lived intensely. Every shot, from the yes uttered under the tower to the smiles of all those present, has become part of a larger story: that of a strong, elegant, timeless love.

The Lanza Branciforte Castle of Trabia is not only a location, but an experience to live. For me, it was a privilege to tell the story of this intimate and at the same time majestic wedding. It is in contexts like this that photography finds its true strength: capturing the soul of an unrepeatable moment.
